Product Categories

Product categories are useful for organizing products into groups for reporting purposes. 

Examples:

• Core service

• Add-on

• Consultancy services

Create a Product Category

1. Go to Settings > Product > Product Categories

2. Press ADD

3. Enter Category Details:

   • Category Name: Enter the name of the category in the CATEGORY field.

   • Is Stock Product: Check this box if the category involves stock management for physical products, applicable only to OneOff products where you will track the delivery in Younium".

4. Press SAVE to confirm the new category.

Setting a Default Product Category

Once you've created your product categories, you can set a default category for new products.

1. Go to Settings > Product > Product Settings

2. Enter the product category that should be the default when adding new products.
