Invoices
When an invoice is sent from Younium to PE Accounting they will end up under Customer invoices.
Certified invoice
-
If a certified invoice is sent to PE Accounting it will straight away end up under unpaid invoices under the category Ledger.
In the case of a certified invoice, it is not possible to make any drastic changes, instead, most of the fields are locked for editing. The functions that are in this view are to change the delivery method, email, and add a reference number to the invoice.
Draft invoice
- If a draft invoice is sent to PE Accounting which means it is not yet certified, it will end up under the category Authorise.
In this view, basically, all of the information can be changed. What is important to pay attention to is that changes here will NOT be reflected back to Younium, a change in price or similar in this view will create differences between Younium and PE Accounting regarding this. This will result in differences in the accounting relative to the metrics and data in Younium.
Credit invoice
The checkbox Certify the invoice needs to be checked in order to be able to credit invoices. If the checkbox is not filled and the invoice is credited in Younium, this will not reflect back to PE due to the invoice being a draft and do not have a PE invoice number.
To create a credit, press the three dots on the invoice header, and then credit invoice. Choose the rows that should be credited and also from which date the credit should be valid, depending on if you want the credit to cover the whole period or parts of it.
Observe that you cannot credit invoice dates that are in the future or the ones that are older than 14 days.
A credit is shown as below in PE Accounting:
