1. Go to the header Usage
2. Add New Usage Item
To add the usage item to the correct charge, choose which:
- Account
- Order: Choose which order on the account the usage is for if the account has multiple orders
- Product: If the order has multiple products, here you choose which product to import usage for
- Charge: If there are multiple charges on the product chosen, here you choose which charge to import the usage for
Then, for the usage item, specify the:
- From Date: From what date the usage was produced (can be the exact day for some usage, but most often usage is just imported once for a month, and then the first day of a month is the most pedagogic option, for example, 2020-01-01 for January 2020)
- Quantity: Amount used
- Unit of measure: What the usage is of
The rest of the fields are not necessary to add the usage item (Unit Price Currency, Unit Price, Description) unless you are importing rated usage.
