E-mail integration settings

Sending e-mails from Younium requires setting up an e-mail configuration. This can be done using any of three options, classic SMTP configuration, Microsoft Graph, or Google mail. The configuration of each method is described under each section.

E-mail settings are available in Younium at Settings > E-mail > E-mail settings

SMTP

SMTP configuration is used when you have a classic SMTP server, user name, and password. This is for example used if you have a Sendgrid account and want to use Younium to send emails using this account.

Check the radio button "Custom SMTP settings" and enter your credentials.

Google

If you are using Google Workspace you can connect Younium to an e-mail account and let Younium send on behalf of this.

Connect Google mail integration

Check the check-box "Gmail", enter Port, Display name, Senders email, Subject and Message. Then click "Save". When clicking Save you will be guided through an oAuth flow that will connect Younium to your Google account and you will have to approve this to establish the connection.

You can walk through the guide and do not forget to approve that the Younium app can send e-mails for you, if this checkbox is not set during the approval you will get an error message when sending the emails.

Disconnect Google mail integration

To either completely disconnect Younium app to your google account, or if you want to re-connect the integration, you need to disconnect the app. This is done in the Google account security settings: Browse to https://myaccount.google.com/ and log in with the relevant account, go to "Security" menu item, then you find "Younium mail integration" under "Your connections to third party apps & services". Click this and you can disconnect it from there.
