Components of Younium

The Younium application is based upon different sections and features. In the list below we will define these terms since many of them also are used in other contexts outside of Younium but might have a different function and meaning in Younium.

Insights - Pre calculated metrics and KPIs

Accounts - Your customers

Products - The services you are providing and selling

Orders - Your customers subscriptions, placed as orders on the account. The most central component of Younium.

Invoices - Your invoices, generated from your orders. 

Payments - Incoming payments from your customers. Payments are used to settle open invoices.

Periods - Accounting Periods to be used for accounting purposes.

Usage - Usage is the driver of cost if you have transactional products in your service. It is always billed in arrears.

Measurements - The possibility to import measured quantities of a used product.

Bookings - The records in Younium keeping information about order events, it stores the event with key metrics.

Journals - Financial journals. There are three journals in Younium: Invoice, payment and revenue recognition. 

Reports - Youniums custom reporting tool. Export reports on almost any data set within the service.
